Overview
Bayview Community Assist (BCA) is a registered non-profit public beneficiary organisation (NPO – 305-087), that is dedicated to creating a safer, more peaceful Bayview area. Operating since 2022, BCA has already made significant strides in fostering community cooperation and enhancing local safety.
Our Values
BCA envisions an empowered and united community where every member actively contributes to creating a safe, peaceful, and thriving environment. By promoting transparency, accountability, humility, and resolution, BCA aims to foster mutual respect, trust, and collaboration. Our vision extends beyond immediate safety to include skills and learning development and economic empowerment, ensuring long-term prosperity and equality for all residents.
Our Objectives
- Safety and Crime Prevention: Implement measures to reduce crime and enhance community safety.
- Fostering Collective Community Engagement: Encourage active participation and cooperation among community members.
- Facilitation of Emergency Services: Ensure prompt and efficient emergency services for the community.
- Skills and Economic Empowerment: Provide skills development and learning interventions to empower residents and promote economic growth.
Key Achievements
BCA has made significant strides in improving community safety and welfare through a variety of successful programs and initiatives:
- Emergency Services and Crime Prevention: BCA has provided essential emergency services, ensured swift response during medical and fire emergencies, and partnered with security companies to effectively combat petty crime.
- Community Clean-up and Local Business Partnerships: Successfully completed major clean-up projects, including Turnstone Park and Bayberry Road, and partnered with local businesses for community improvement projects, such as curb cutting on Funfair Road.
- Community Empowerment: Supported the creation of street chats to foster unity and crime prevention, organised workshop for women and senior citizens on safety matters, and mobilised street marshals for community events and residents' private functions.
- Charitable Activities: Distributed warm drinks, and a meal during Easter, and grocery hampers to community members in need.
- Social Media Presence: BCA has established a significant presence on TikTok, engaging with a large and growing audience. This platform allows BCA to share updates, promote initiatives, and foster community engagement in innovative ways.
Future Initiatives
BCA is committed to expanding its impact through future initiatives focused on:
- Skills and Economic Empowerment: Developing and implementing training programs, workshops, and resources to equip community members with essential skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and overall economic growth.
Partnerships and Collaborations
BCA has collaborates with various security companies, ADT Fidelity, Blue Security, PT Alarms, Safe House, businesses, community members and all those willing to work with BCA to achieve its goals.
